Luxury Home Fragrance from Lilou et Loic

Home fragrance is bigger than ever. With the introduction of Hygge here in the UK, showing us the importance of candlelight and cosiness, candles and reed diffusers seem to be everywhere. They come with every scent, design and budget to suit all tastes. If it is a touch of luxury you are after, whether it be in your own home, or as a gift for a friend or loved one, then Lilou et Loic makes choosing the perfect candle or reed diffuser easy as can be.

Lilou et Loic is a British brand with a hint of Scandinavian about them. They produce contemporary, classic interiors and fragrances inspired by moments, memories and emotion. They offer a lifestyle collection of international acclaim, with both luxurious design and compelling scents. The outer packaging alone is so elegant, with neat silver and white stripes, thick luxurious materials. Finally a beautiful black ribbon ties up the candle packaging, which I now use as a hair bow!

The scent I have had the pleasure of being introduced to is the Wild Neroli and Water Jasmine scent, which is the perfect balance for the home. It has hints of woodiness, florals and freshness, it is a scent which most people will enjoy, without being offensive, and therefore making it the perfect gift choice fragrance if you are unsure as to what they would prefer.

Wild Neroli and Water Jasmine is a lively, vivacious blend. It opens on sparkling citrus notes of Bergamot, Mandarin, Lemon and herbs including Rosemary, has a heart of Neroli, Jasmine, Rose and Lavender, and has a base of musks including Amber and Musk.

The Lilou et Loic Neroli and Water Jasmine Signature Candle (£50) comes presented in a beautiful gift box, and the candle itself has a really good weight to it. The container of the candle itself is made from a silver coloured tumbler-style glass with a wider base so that it doesn’t fall over. Safety first girls! It is a one wick candle, yet seems to burn evenly. It has a burn time of fifty hours, so you are going to be able to get plenty of use from that delicious fragrance. Even when the candle isn’t lit, the aroma still fills the air. As soon as I walk into my living room, I get a faint scent of it.

Moving onto the Wild Neroli and Water Jasmine Room Diffuser (£45). This is, of course, the same refreshing citrus scent as the candle, and complements it beautifully. Whether you like to mix and match your home fragrances, or keep them the same, you can do so easily with Lilou et Loic. The Room Diffuser comes equally well gift packaged. In the box you receive a sophisticated square glass bottle, complete with dark wooden lid, with a silver accent. You then get the reeds themselves to pop into the fragrance, which I found super easy to do. There are ten of these, which are dark brown to match the lid of the diffuser perfectly.
