The full product name for this body lotion is L’Oréal Paris Sublime Bronze Firming Body Lotion Tan Optimiser and while it is a brilliant body lotion particularly if you use Self Tan, I do think that the name is slightly misleading. But I’ll cover that in a bit!
L’Oréal Paris Sublime Bronze Firming Body Lotion Tan Optimiser
I’ll start off with the reasons why I love this Sublime Bronze Body Lotion.
For a start, I am an avid mody moisturiser so a big bottle and a handy pump are my best friends! It speeds things up and means I won’t be running out too fast.
Secondly, as I am also an avid fake tanner, it is vital for me that my moisturiser doesn’t fight with my tan. The wrong moisturiser can make your fake tan lift off, go patchy and fade faster than it should. The L’Oreal Sublime Bronze body lotion keeps my tan looking lovely for along as possible
My favourite moisturiser in terms of fake tanning is the incredible Fake Bake Oil Free Moisturiser which is currently on sale at Beauty Bay for £6.71 delivered (buy it now it’s a total bargain and normally £13!!) but if I run out of that, the L’Oreal lotion is a great cheap alternative.
The reason I think that’ the product name is misleading is because I don’t think it firms the skin particularly , but then I really don’t think that many products do beyond providing a good lever of hydration and skin softness.
And in terms of the ‘Tan Optimiser’ element, it certainly doesn’t make your tan any deeper which the term might lead you to believe. It just keeps my fake tan looking good for longer than if I don’t use it.
It is currently on offer for £4.66 for 250ml – click the link above to buy. Find my Fake Bake favourite at Beauty Bay.
