I showed you the brand True Match liquid highlighters from L’Oreal last week and now let me introduce to you their powder sisters! Check out the L’Oreal Paris True Match Highlight Powder Glow Illuminator range. I have a couple here to show you with lots of pictures and swatches. Spoiler alert – I really really like them both.
As with their liquid counterparts, these powder highlights have already been launched in the US, although the way the pan is put together is different. There are three shades in total and I have two of them – Icy Glow 302 R/C and Golden Glow 102 D/W.
L’Oreal Paris True Match Highlight Powder Glow Illuminator Swatches
On the left of both swatches, the shades are blended together, and then shown separately.
The texture is really lovely. It’s a super fine powder with a great silky feeling. They are very well pigmented yet apply in a even, buildable way, making them very easy to use.
You can use the shades separately or blended together. Personally I find using them all at once the easiest way to go and you get a great result. The Golden Glow one makes the loveliest soft bronzer. It is subtle yet very skin beautifying. It’s a perfect bronzer for pale skin and a great highlighter for deeper skin tones.
The Icy Glow is the prettiest highlighter. It give skin a flattering frosty sheen and isn’t harsh at all which was my fear. It’s very wearable and lasts well too. If you like Anastasia Beverly Hills Moonchild then you will most likely enjoy this. I am definitely a fan.
The textures of both are very skin flattering and don’t accentuate enlarged pore. Excellent news.
L’Oreal Paris True Match Highlight Powder Glow Illuminator will be online soon and is starting to appear in stores. I’ll update when I can.
