I love a hair product and I got pretty excited about this one as soon as I saw. It’s the L’Oreal Paris Studio Line #TXT Wave Creating Spray.

Studio Line #TXT Wave Creating Spray is supposed to create waves in your hair without using tongs but using texturising micro-powders instead that create texturised waves on straight hair.
Now my hair is super straight. A hairdresser once described it as being like Japanese hair, so I thought I would put it to the test.
Basically, you spray it into damp hair, half dry it, then twist it into topknots and continue to dry it. When you take out the buns you scrunch the hair with the hairdryer again and waves should be yours.
I was pretty pleased with the results. It wasn’t defined waves, but definitely a good tousled effect.

I have a full tutorial coming up on the Hairdryer Dairies next week. I also used it as a prep treatment for tonging to get long lasting curls and it worked really well. I like the fact that it contains heat protection. Read about that HERE.
I think this is probably well suited to thick hair like mine, and potentially it may be too heavy for finer hair types. You can feel it in your hair afterwards, a little bit like salt spray, and the best way to remove it is to wash it. You can brush the hair, but the feel of the product is still there.
L’Oreal Paris Studio Line #TXT Wave Creating Spray isn’t a miracle worker, but it certainly does help to create movement in the hair without tongs if you follow the instructions. It also good for creating long lsting hold for tonged styles.
