Here’s ANOTHER new mascara from L’Oreal Paris. I don’ think I can keep up! This one is called L’Oreal False Lash X Fibre Mascara and the promises the ultimate false lash look without the hassle of false lashes or eyelash extensions. Check out my before and after photos.
L’Oreal False Lash X Fibre Mascara Features
- Two-step formula
- Step one is a volumising black primer that thickens the look of each lash to build extreme volume
- Step two has lengthening fibers enriched with 20X more fibers (vs Superstar Original) for extreme length
- You can repeat steps until to achieve the desired look
- Formulated to make lashes appear lifted and longer
I have to say, I find two step mascaras a bit of a hassle but I was pleased to see that the primer was black. When the primer is white it’s sometimes quite a pain to make sure it’s all covered up with the next coat. Also, the L’Oreal False Lash X Fibre Mascara is pretty interesting because often you apply the fibres first and then add the black coat. This is the other way around and works really well. Also, the fibres are black too (most of the two steps have white fibres) so you are always adding depth with each coat.

Now, I just want to say first, I love the look of one coat. Actually, as I love a dramatic lash, I like two coats a lot too, but I don’t think it looks at perfect as one coat. Once you start to pack on too much product, things get a bit clumpy but that is true for pretty much any mascara in my experience.
Next time I use this I am going for one coat because I think that effect is amazing.
