This is the first time that I have tried any of the fragrances from Liz Earle and I have to say, I am really impressed! If you like a good floral fragrance that makes a statement and lasts and lasts, then you seriously need to check out the Liz Earle Botanical Essence No 100.  You will love it!

So No 100 was actually originally created in partnership with the Royal Horticultural Society to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Chelsea Flower Show. And we are talking serious flowers here. This is like walking past the beautiful florist at the iconic entrance of Liberty of London.

Liz Earle Botanical Essence No 100 – The Notes

  • Top notes: Bergamot, mandarin orange
  • Heart notes: Damask rose, jasmine, orange blossom
  • Base notes: Cypress, vanilla, sandalwood

If you read this blog regularly, you’ll know that I am obsessed with Bergamot, so the first hit of this scent gets me hooked straight away. I have also been in love with mandarin since Tom Ford Rive d’Ambre so it’s a winner from the outset.

Now as I said, this is a serious floral that really packs a punch. The blend of Damask Rose, Orange Flower and Indian Jasmine is so powerful and heady. One little spritz is all you need and then the soft base of woods and vanilla  lasts and last on the skin. It’s a beauty.
