If there is one thing I dread in the morning other than actually waking up and getting out of bed, its knowing I have to faff about with my hair! I have really thick locks – think of a lion’s mane but ten times thicker. As you can imagine this can be an issue!

I wake up each morning with extreme frizzy bed head and I know that pulling out the straighteners is my only option. The mornings for me personally can be a really stressful time, I have to get myself and two small children ready for the day. Straightening my hair is not an easy feat, especially when the kids are trying to pull the cord out of the wall and touch the hot straightening plates. That’s where the Lee Stafford No Strings Attached Cordless Straighteners come into play. Find them here

The Lee Stafford No Strings Attached Cordless Straighteners are a new and innovative idea, revolutionary to the world of straightening as we know it. Lee Stafford have created a cordless straightener that can be used at any place at any time and that for me is the winning aspect of these by far!

Mornings can be a rush for most of us so with these you can literally straighten your hair anywhere around the house, whenever you need to. Cool right?! They are suitable for all hair types and come with smooth tourmaline-ceramic plates that fight frizz for smoother looking sleeker hair. In the box you’ll also find a heat protective mat, a carry case, a heating pod base and a plug in cord (if you’d like to use them the traditional way).

How do they work?

Well, you place the straighteners into the heating pod and turn on the switch. The pod then heats the plates to 230 degrees and you’re free to remove them from the base and begin to use them. The heat is retained in the plates for around 15 minutes depending on the thickness of your hair but you’re free to place the straighteners back into the pod to keep them heated whenever suits you.

I love the idea of the cordless straightener, I can move around freely when using them which is a plus as a mum and I can also keep them out of arms reach of the children too! They would be perfect if you don’t have a plug socket near your mirror or if you want to use them in the bathroom where there’s no socket. They aren’t really suitable for out of the house though as you need the base to be plugged in to heat them up. If you need cordless straighteners for travel/festivals the Glamoriser cordless straighteners are probably better for that

I loved the feel of these in my hand, I felt as if I could get a good grip without worrying about them slipping from my hands. Heat wise I did have to place them back into the pod more often than I expected as they cooled down quite quickly for the thickness of my hair but overall I really enjoy using them!

The Lee Stafford no strings attached straightener is definitely one to try, they RRP at £69.99 with a 2 year warranty but you can find them here for £39.99 at the time of writing.
