I am so excited by these gorgeous new matte liquid lipsticks from Laura Mercier. Somehow their launch seemed to slip past me unnoticed and they are so lovely that I feel terrible that they haven’t received any of my attention! They are called Laura Mercier Paint Wash Liquid Lip Colour and I have 7 shades and swatches here for you. Lovely!

So this is all about creamy comfortable texture with a super flattering and long lasting velvet finish. Sounds like perfection to me.

As you can see, the formula is densely pigmented however it has such a light and almost invisible texture that it is quite possible to forget you are wearing it.

Like all liquid lipsticks, they apply with a shine, and then it dries down to a soft velvet finish. It has a lightly creamy feel and is really comfortable to wear. I wore Fuchsia Mauve yesterday and really loved it. It isn’t the longest lasting formula I have tried but it is such a lovely one to wear. It builds easily and you can top it up without it going patchy or flaking.

I reapplied after my lunch and it lasted until about 6 with very even fade. It doesn’t dry out the lips and leaves a nice stain. I really like this and I am a huge fan of the fuchsia shade.
