This is so exciting! It’s all change for Lancome and lipstick, and Lisa Eldridge is responsible for revolutionising the entire L’Absolue Rouge collection. Every shade has been discontinued and there’s now a fresh new take in a variety of new textures and stunning new packaging. You ‘click the rose’ to reveal the lipstick. Totally amazing. Here’s a close up look of Lancome L’Absolue Rouge Lipstick for Fall 2016 with swatches. Also, guess what?! Rumour has it that Lancome Juicy Shaker Matte is on the way!
Not only are there new textures with the relaunch of Lancome L’Absolue Rouge Lipstick for Fall 2016, but also Lisa Eldridge has created 14 brand new shades across reds, pink and nudes. There are now 36 shades in total with sheer, original cream and matte textures.
And the packaging is absolutely divine. It is a gorgeous tube with a golden rose at the tip. You simply click the rose and the tube springs open for you to slide out the lipstick. It is extremely satisfying and takes Lancome lipstick back to its origin of the value of makeup that looked as beautiful in the hand as it does on the face.

The formulations of each finish is really beautiful. I love the matte texture – it is smooth and creamy. Also the sheer texture is so easy to use. I think Nuit & Jour will be a new handbag staple.
