Lancome Grandiose was the mascara innovation of last year, with its swan neck wand and super short bristles, and now there are some lovely new additions to the line up. Check out Lancome Grandiose Colors. I have a few of the new shades to show you.

Apparently Grandiose has already won 20 awards for mascara amazingness and I have to say, I am loving the new shades.

Lancome Grandiose Colors Mascara Features

• Double-twist Grandiôse “Swan-Neck” wand intuitively adapts to all of the eye’s curves to reach every lash.
• Tilted at 25° to its axis, it fits around every facial contour to avoid the cheekbones, nose and eyebrow arches
• Mixes the formula every time the bottle is opened, protecting it from drying out
• Enriched with an extract of Lancôme native rose cell to soften and strengthen

• BRUN MIRIFIQUE – warm pigments bring out radiant golden tones in the iris and accentuate eyes
• VIOLET MIRIFIQUE – a popping purple shade to warm eye colour
• SAPHIR MIRIFIQUE – an electric blue to enhance the white of the eye for a radiant effect

I thought I’d try it out with just bright tips as I was inspired by the new Lash Tips mascaras from Tom Ford. I think it’s a really easy and non-scary way to wear colours on the eyes.

If you are feeling bold I think the electric blue is absolutely amazing. I think brown is my fave – it’s a really flattering shade, and the violet is really wearable for a bit of subtle colour. Strangely, I didn’t find it as volumising and lengthening as the other 2 shades.
