I had the extreme pleasure of being introduced to La Mer’s new cushion foundation by makeup superstar Patrick Ta, and as a fan of glowing, juicy skin, I am pretty obsessed with it. Here’s the low down on the La Mer Luminous Lifting Cushion Foundation. I have before and after photos for you.
I do love a cushion foundation because they are so easy to use and you generally tend to get a glowy, radiant finish with a hydrated feel. This one delivers on all those counts. Love it!

Before & After
Bare-faced and slightly red after a bit of a home facial:
This is a heavy application as I like a really even-toned finish that minimises the look of my freckles and natural redness, but you can go much lighter and still achieve a flawless effect.
I love how this looks on my skin. It feels so comfortable and soothing, and gives my complexion a really natural looking radiance that stays in place. You can layer it up to get your preferred level of coverage without it looking cakey, so it will work if you need a light finish or something much fuller, looking like skin all the while.
The La Mer Luminous Lifting Cushion Foundation is pricey at £90 but you also get a compact refill and a fresh sponge to apply with. It is available HERE now. You can also purchase refills separately for £45.
