So the idea of contouring and sculpting the complexion continues to get A LOT of attention. In fact, it was the number one google search last year, ahead of the smoky eye and how to choose the right foundation. The L’Oreal Infallible Sculpt Collection is tackling this trend from a very bespoke perspective that is about designing your own beauty and being your own face architect. It is about subtle, natural looking sculpting that last all day and shows off your best angles with a range of products to build your look.

Over the next few days I shall be focussing on each of these products separately, but for now, here’s an overview.
L’Oreal Infallible Sculpt Base Foundation

So this is the product you didn’t know you needed! If you have ever worried about all your contour and highlight work just sliding off, then L’Oreal have come up with the answer.
- Designed to be used as the first makeup step
- Guarantees a flawless, even complexion
- Last for up to 24 hours
- Provide great grip for products to stick to
- Ensures seamless blending of sculpting products
- Half the thickness of regular foundation so can be applied on top of your normal base
- Available in 2 shades
I think this is really interesting and can’t wait to give it a go. The idea of priming your base for sculpting products is genius, and if it works well, could be a game changer. Stay tuned for my review.
L’Oreal Infallible Sculpt Palette

- Creamy feel
- Cream to powder formulation
- Matte contour shade
- Sheer highlight shade
- Never gets cakey
- Blends seamlessly
This duo looks great. The contour shade is cool toned and doesn’t make the complexion appear muddy. Mario Dedivanovic’s top tip for blending is to apply and then just blend out the edges of the contour. Too much blending and you will lose your definition! I will have a full post on these soon.
L’Oreal Infallible Sculpt Blush

Blush is fully moving inside the category of sculpting with these pretty trios.
- Uses an identical texture to the Sculpt palette and base for ideal blending
- Creates a soft focus finish
- Apply to high points for a lifting glow
- Apply a little lower for an outdoorsy flush
- Blend into the hollows for a sculpted look
L’Oreal Dual Ended Sculpting Brush

This brush looks fab, and Mario Dedivanovic said he loved it!
- Tapered end hugs the cheekbones for contour or blush
- Flat end designed to blend together your contour and apply highlight
- Flat end can also be used to apply the Sculpt Base Foundation
I don’t have a sample of this yet but I am very excited to try it.
As I said I will have lots more observations and info on these products soon.
