So I have now gotten over my Kylie Lip Kit obsession – I think that was a lot more about not being able to get them than really wanting them, and I can safely say that the MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipsticks are more for me. However, I must say, I am very impressed with this new non-UV gel nails collection. The shades are gorgeous and it is super affordable. Here are my photos and swatches of the new King Kylie collection from the Kylie Jenner Sinful Colors Nails range.
I don’t have tonnes of information on the formulation of these polishes but they are basically a 2 step gel system that uses ‘Gel Tech’. You apply 2 coats of the colour and then the top coat. All very simple!
Kylie Jenner Sinful Colors Nails Swatches
I have 7 of the shades to show you. I have swatched the colours without the get top coat, so you can see the shade, but just imagine a much glossier, shiner finish. Kryptonite has the top coat on because that’s the shade I finished on, and I did my mum’s in the shade Kween, and it looks amazing! She has quite ridged nails and it has really smoothed them out and given them a super glossy finish.
I think the shade range is brilliant and I’d wear every single one of these. The finish is great – really shiny and it feels tough. I will report back on longevity soon. My mum always chips her nails so we will see how she does! I love the shade Kween – it is the glossiest of the line up I think and really does look like a gel polish with that plumped up coverage.
I love that there a great mix of nudes and colours and apparently there will be lots of new shades released over time. Each colour is £3 which I think is an excellent price. The top coat is also £3.
