The big celeb beauty news is that Kim Kardashian is about to seriously capitalise on what she’s most famous for within the beauty world – her contour – and is launching her very own cosmetics line, KKW Beauty. The initial launch, rather sensibly, will focus exclusively on contouring with the KKW Beauty Creme Contour & Highlight Kit. It’s the perfect place to start. There’s also a concealer kit in the pipeline.

This is Kim’s first sole venture within beauty, and industry experts are predicting another case of Kim Kardashian breaks the internet! I understand that 300,000 units of the KKW Beauty Creme Contour & Highlight Kit have been produced and it is predicted that this will sell out in less than five minutes. Shoppers will need to sharpen their internet elbows. At $48 a pop, she’s looking at over almost $3 million a minute!

Like her sister Kylie, Kim is starting with just one product, the KKW Beauty Creme Contour & Highlight Kit. I imagine that once it has sold out several times and broken the internet in the process, then more products will be rolled out to create a brand new hype all over again. I hear new products will launch monthly. The second launch is set to be the KKW Beauty Concealer Kit and will most likely launch around August 2017. Skin is going to be a big focus.

Apparently the aim is to avoid the internet actually breaking though, as the company is prepared for the demand and confident that the site won’t be crashing. Let’s see…
