The packaging is absolutely stunning. It is made from black laquer embossed with the Kilian Achilles shield emblem and feels so luxurious in the hand.
I love the way this collection makes fragrance visible.
How Many Shades of Kilian Le Rouge Parfum Lipstick?
There are 6 different shades of red lipstick, although there are 12 lipsticks in the complete collection as the colours are duplicated in both a satin and matte finish. The 100s are the satins and the 200s are the mattes.

All the lipsticks are scented and both the matte and satin finish provide intense colour pay off in one stroke.
Kilian Le Rouge Parfum Lipstick Swatches
The matte lipstick creates ultra-matte lips with a powdery velvet finish. The satin formula gives the lips a flattering sheen.

Both use a long wearing yet lightweight formula that lasts up to 10 hours. It is easy to apply and comfortable to wear, and doesn’t dry out the lips.
The shape of the bullet makes application really easy to apply without a brush as you can use the edge to line and define. Both formulas glide on really easily and deliver opaque coverage in one swipe.

The Fragrance
The lipsticks are fragranced with a blend of gourmand and floral notes and what Kilian calls ‘a specially-created harmony of marshmallow and orange blossom.’ I really enjoy the experience of scented lipstick. You can smell it, and are aware of it, but it isn’t overpowering and just feels super decadent and special.
