KIKO Milano often impresses me, but when this package of goodies arrived at the weekend, I think my heart actually skipped a beat. The KIKO Milano Holiday Collection 2016 aims to bring Italian holiday cheer to everyone this year.
Once again the packaging in this collection has been designed by designer Ross Lovegrove and my word it is gorgeous! This Christmas KIKO Milano have everything you could possibly need, from makeup, to skincare and lovely gift sets. Keep reading as you’re going to want to see this, some of the products are online only for two weeks…
KIKO Milano Holiday Collection 2016- 2-in-1 Bronzer and Highlighter
This compact is absolutely huge and it’s packaged with a creamy, buttery powder which offers both a bronzer and a highlighter. It’s a baked formula which makes the product really pigmented, but also gives it a beautiful appearance in the compact. Roughly two-thirds of this compact features the bronzer and the remaining third houses the highlighter. Both shades are pigmented and they just blend beautifully onto the skin. This compact is finished in a beautiful red hue, with the classic KK logo on the top of the palette. Inside you’ll find a huge mirror, which is great for touch-ups when you’re on-the-go. The KIKO Milano 2-in-1 Bronzer and Highlighter is available in two different shades (pictured here is Gold Tan), it retails for £25 here.
KIKO Milano Holiday Collection 2016 -Double Colour Baked Blush
This compact features a beautiful baked blusher, which again offers intense colour and pigmentation. I have Harmonious Bisque, which is a gorgeous rose shade, fantastic for offering definition to the cheekbones. It’s a very finely milled powder, which offers great colour payoff on the skin, but it’s still easy to blend. Just like the bronzer/powder duo this palette is also red, finished with the KIKO logo. It’s a much smaller compact, but it still has a great mirror inside, so this one is fantastic for popping into your handbag. The KIKO Milano Double Colour Baked Blush is available in two shades (pictured is Harmonious Bisque), it retails for £18 here.
From top to bottom swatched here we have the KIKO Milano Double Colour Baked Blush in Harmonious Bisque, followed by the highlighter and bronzer from the 2-in-1 Bronzer and Highlighter in Gold Tan.
KIKO Milano 3-in-1 Eyeshadow & Eye Pencil
This handy double sided tool features a long-lasting eyeshadow, eyeliner and kajal stick, all in one handy place. It gives you everything you need to bring your eyes to life before a party, a perfect desk to dancefloor accessory! I have shade 03 which is Black-Rosy Steel, the eyeshadow is a stunning silver glitter, which glides on to the lid with intense, radiant colour. The kajal eyeliner is jet black, which means you can get a precise and dramatic finish. The 3-in-1 Eyeshadow & Eye Pencil is available in three colours, it retails for £9 here but has been out of stock, so keep checking.
KIKO Milano Volumizing Effect Mascara
I absolutely love the packaging of this mascara, which is finished in the same red packaging as the pretty compacts. This mascara is designed to offer you volume and curl, in a jet black formulation. It’s been created with jojoba, argan and rosa mosqueta, to create a formula which builds coat after coat, without going clumpy. It has a special U-shaped brush, which has been designed to precisely define the eyelashes, without missing a single lash. This mascara is available only in black, retailing at £10 here.
KIKO Milano Double Colour Eyeliner
KIKO fans won’t need an introduction to their eyeliner pencils, as they are a staple in the collection. These double-ended eyeliner pencils give you two complementary colours, which you can wear on their own, or together for a more complex look. These pencils are super soft, you really don’t have to apply much pressure to see the colour transferring. I have the shade 118, which is called Pearly Taupe – Champagne. Both colours are gorgeous, but the Champagne makes me feel a little weak at the knees, it’s perfect for this time of year! KIKO Milano say there are 9 shades for Christmas, there are three shades currently on the website, they retail for £8 here.
From top to bottom swatched here we have Black and Rosy Steel from the KIKO Milano 3-in-1 Eyeshadow & Eye Pencil followed by Taupe and Champagne from the KIKO Milano Double Colour Eyeliner.
KIKO Milano Holiday 2016- Intense Colour Lip Kit
This kit is just absolutely gorgeous and it’s a must have for anyone who is a lipstick fan! Inside this pretty red box, you get a lipstick and lip pencil, which perfectly match, for lips that are always perfect. Like all the KIKO lipsticks I’ve tried, this lipstick has a beautiful creamy texture. It’s finished in the stunning red Christmas packaging and it closes with that satisfying metallic click. The lip liner isn’t just a close match, it’s actually an identical match. It has a very fine tip which means you can get a very precise stroke of intense colour.
The Lip Kits are available in 12 different shades. There are eight kits that offer a shiny finish and four which offer a matte finish. Pictured here is Provocative Burgundy, which retails for £15 here.
From top to bottom swatched here we have the lip liner followed by the lipstick. You can see how identical the shades are.
KIKO Milano Colour Glitter Nail Lacquer
I have a real sweet spot for glitter nail polish all year round, but at Christmas time it really pulls on my heart strings. This year KIKO have released three gorgeous limited-edition coloured nail lacquers, which boast about having a very high concentration of glitter. Each of the nail polishes have a clear bottle. They are finished with the gorgeous red lid, designed by designer Ross Lovegrove. Swatched here we have the shades ‘Pleasant Silver Rose’ and ‘Rich Gold’, there is also a third shade called ‘Full Red’. These retail for £6 each here.
KIKO Milano 3 Colours Eyeshadow Palette
Last but certainly not least, we have this stunning eyeshadow palette which features three gorgeous eyeshadow shades. It is packaged in the same shape and design as the other palettes, but this time it’s finished in gold with the KIKO logo.
You open the palette to find a really handy mirror and three stunning eyeshadow shades. Each of the shades have a baked formula, which gives you that buttery texture and really strong pigmentation.
There are six different shades available in these palettes. Pictured here we have ’04 Magnetic Taupe’, which I’ve swatched for you below. The 3 colour eyeshadow palettes retail for £15 each.
