Joan Collins is a brand that certainly goes under the radar despite being stocked in the ever evolving beauty sector at Marks & Spencer, with many stores now stocking the brand and it being available online too. I have tried and enjoyed quite a few of the products from the line and the Joan Collins Timeless Beauty Divine Lips lipsticks have definitely been a standout.

When it comes to spring, making that transition from winter to spring can be as easy as switching up your lipstick colour and texture from rich, deep hues to lighter and brighter pops of colour.

I tend to favour bright and bold fuchsia shades during the warmer months, with the occasional peach shade. I find those slightly harder to wear for some reason but I know a blue toned bright pink will work wonders. I used to enjoy a baby pink but as I’ve gotten older, that type of colour just does not suit me.

Joan Collins Timeless Beauty has a lovely array of lipsticks, delightfully named Divine Lips in a wide range of shades. The packaging, as with all the Joan Collins line is classic, gold and very luxe in feel and design. I actually have a pocket mirror from the brand that is absolutely stunning!

I have two newer shades to discuss today, both differing in shade to give you a nice sense of the different colours available.

First up is the shade that doesn’t suit me at all but is lovely nonetheless. If you like pale, blue toned pinks then “Bella” is perfect for you. It’s quite pale there is still a vibrancy to the shade. I’ve somewhat outgrown this type of shade but it is very pretty. The pigmentation is spot on and it applies smoothly and without streaking. The shade I preferred was “Evelyn” which is a beautiful, vibrant coral which leans more towards the pink spectrum. Coral is such a funny shade – it’s a mix of so many tones and can be either more peachy or more pink. I love this lipstick on me, it really seems to make my eyes pop! Again, perfect pigmentation and application. Find it here

Both shades have a sheen that allows my lips to look fuller which is always welcomed.

The Divine Lips range focuses on wonderfully pigmented colours with hydration and moisture for super comfortable wear. I find the formula to be lovely to wear as each shade applies beautifully with zero streaking and instant opaque colour. The finish is creamy but almost satin so there’s a level of longevity there, though don’t expect matte level wear time.

Have you tried anything from Joan Collins Timeless Beauty?

Love, Kate xo
