At the launch for Jo Malone London’s new fragrance, Peony and Blush Suede, we were greeted by a scene that was being coined as ‘Cologne meets Couture’. 10,000 peonies had been flown in for this stunning installation, all of which will be making their way to the Chelsea Flower Show as I type.

Jo Malone Peony and Blush Suede Review |
This beautiful scene was scented by Peony Blush Suede which I pleased to say is my kind of scent. It is really lovely. Here is the low-down on the fragrance:
Top note: Red apple
Heart notes: Peony, Jasmine, Rose, Gillyflower, Honey
Base note: Suede

Perfumer Christine Nagel was inspired by 1940s high glamour – think Downton Abbey – it is a real lady-like luxurious scent that comprises the beautiful freshness of apple and the sweetness of honey all perfectly balanced out with the depth, warmth and texture of soft suede. Lovely.
It was a hit with literally everyone I spoke to about it.
The Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede cologne comes in 30ml (£39) and 100ml (£78). There is also a Body Crème (£50 for 175ml), Body & Hand Wash (£32 for 250ml); and a Home Candle (£38 for 200g). I have to say it works really very well as a candle.
