There’s a wonderful new summer fragrance on the block from Jo Malone and it’s taking pretty to a wonderful ombre’d flower level. Check out Jo Malone Limited Edition Silk Blossom Cologne.

I don’t know why but it actually took this beautiful bottle embellishment to realise that the whole ombre quality of colour actually comes from flowers!! Just me?! These tassels depict Silk Blossom just beautifully.
I absolutely adore these pink fringed pom poms that delicately hang from the bottles of Jo Malone Silk Blossom Cologne and it’s such a stunning pink which is of course one of my favourite colours! Created by master perfumer Marie Salamagne, Silk Blossom is fruity, floral and earthy at the same time – it opens with with a hint of apricot and spice but has an edgier base of moss (which I love!).
Top Notes: Apricot & White Pepper
Heart Notes: Silk Blossom, Rose, Jasmine
Base Notes: Moss & Patchouli
In Jo Malone’s wonderful world of fragrance combining, they suggest layering Silk Blossom with Orange Blossom for a bright, blooming fragrance, or Red Roses for a romantic, modern floral.
Jo Malone Silk Blossom is available from May 2014 – £41 for 30ml and £82 for 100ml.
