So Jo Malone of Jo Loves has launched a new fragrance and it is right up my street. It uses some of my most favourite notes ever in a beautifully fresh yet earthy and warm combination. You need to smell it. Here are the details on Jo Loves Red Truffle 21.

This isn’t the final packaging as this one is a sample but you can be sure it will look beautiful. Jo Loves really do know how to do packaging.

Jo Loves Red Truffle 21 Notes

• Top Notes:  Black Pepper, Fig Leaf, Bergamot and Mandarin
• Heart Notes: Pine Leaves, Fig and Juniper
• Base Notes: Vetiver, Truffle and Patchouli

The use of truffle is so interesting! I can spot the scent of Truffle a mile off and I absolutely love it. I am so impressed that Jo has taken on truffle.

She says, “It’s taken me a long time to get exactly the right balance of truffle: too much and it’s too dominant, yet too little and it disappears. By sitting it alongside fresh fig, bitter citrus, vetiver and pine, I have achieved vibrancy and harmony, whilst ensuring that truffle is always present.”

And it’s a job superbly done. I love it. It has the beautiful fresh and uplifting vibe of fig and bergamot, with the green brightness of Pine which all settles beautifully on the earthy, edgy base. Patchouli’s earthiness is amazing and the Truffle compliments it perfectly. You need to smell it. I think it’s one that boys will like too – on you and them!!
