I love the original Jimmy Choo fragrance. It was one of the first fragrances I reviewed when I started this site and so holds a special little place in my heart. The newest incarnation of the scent is Jimmy Choo L’Eau and I have it here to show you.

I am really excited about this because it opens with bergamot which is one of my favourite notes in fragrance. I find it so uplifting and motivating, and I love to use fragrance to set the mood or get me going. It is backed up by a fruity and floral blend and a soft musky base.

Jimmy Choo L’Eau Notes
This new scent was composed by perfumer Juliette Karagueuzoglou and is described as radiant feminine composition:
Top Notes: Bergamot and Hibiscus
Heart Notes: Nectarine and Peony
Base Notes: Cedarwood and Musks

Anyone expecting something really wishy washy and feint from this L’eau will be pleased to hear that Jimmy Choo L’Eau is a full bodied fragrance and I found it pretty long-lasting on my skin. It softens down beautifully and becomes very skin-like with the musk and cedarwood, making it sensual and feminine.
I am a big fan of the bottle. It is an elongated version of the original shape in the same Venetian Murano glass and the lid is a super-pale pink cube with gilded edges and has a really modern vibe. It’s a little stunner. The box is also a gorgeous pale pink with a light snakeskin print. It’s all very pretty and summery, so perfect for a Spring launch.
Jimmy Choo L’Eau is £36 for 40ml, £47 for 60ml and £63 for 100ml. It launches 30th January 2017.
