Jimmy Choo Illicit is the brand new fragrance that’s set to get the attention of a much younger and cooler audience for the brand. It’s about rock glamour, edginess and confident seduction.

The fragrance has been designed to evoke an “audacious and enigmatic spirit” – this is about taking life by the horns and living it to the full and in the moment.

Sandra Choi, Creative Director Jimmy Choo says “ILLICIT embodies the daring spirit of the Jimmy Choo woman. She is alluring, hypnotic and lives her life to the full. Sky perfectly portrays these qualities with her uninhibited personality and appetite for fun.”

The fragrance has a very feminine quality with an underlying gourmand sweetness. There’s a blend of ginger, rose and jasmine, with honey-amber and sandalwood. I like it the longer I wear it on my skin.

I think this will sell well. It’s a little on the sweet side for me at first, but it isn’t at all overpowering and kind of melts into the skin leaving a softly sweet woody smoothness.

I absolutely adore the bottle. It is seriously decadent and luxurious. It is inspired by an  art deco style crystal glass tumbler and it perfectly shows off the golden juice within. The lid is the perfect contrast to the intricacies of the glass – it is striking and bold. It’s definitely a bottle you’d want to show off.

Jimmy Choo Illicit Eau de Parfum launches 31st August 2015 – 40ml is £42, 60ml is £54 and 100ml is £78. Find Jimmy Choo at Boots, House of Fraser, John Lewis and other department stores nationwide.
