We’re in the middle of summer and that means festival season is in full swing. There’s something on every weekend around the country, with bands, DJs and comedy acts entertaining crowds in tents and in muddy fields, creating unforgettable memories along the way.

Festivals are hot, tiring and at times incredibly expensive affairs, however, they’re also wonderfully exciting and colourful. Just walking around you see incredible outfits, hairstyles and glittery makeup on the music fans who have braved the weather in search of festival fun. Getting that colourful look takes some serious preparation and the right products. Luckily I’m going to be looking at some super glam festival nail polishes from IZ Beauty of London.

Founded in 1999 by Izabelle Hammon, an expert renowned for her knowledge and experience in the beauty industry, IZ’s mission is to “bring professional quality nail art products to nail fanatics everywhere”.

They’re determined to push boundaries and bring edgy products to the market that are as professional as they are unique.

I’m going to be looking at Festival Fever, a collection consisting of four colours.  They are: Glastonberry   (purple), Dancing in the Rain (cool blue), Sold Out (a bright orange) and Main Stage (a bright pink).

The product packaging is small and contemporary with the IZ initials taking pride of place on the corner of each bottle. The colours are vibrant and eye catching!

I found the colours to be much brighter than the photos on the website, so don’t be put off if you have a look online and think they aren’t light enough.

Apart from Sold Out they were all opaque in one coat. I was really surprised at how quickly they dried! They’re long lasting as advertised and didn’t have that really strong nail varnish smell that other products often have.

If you’re not heading to festival any time soon or you’ve survived Glastonbury and don’t fancy getting any more mud on your clothes this summer then they’re great for garden parties or nights out, particularly the pink Main Stage.

If you going to a festival soon then why not try using different colours on each nail for an ultra snazzy festival look?

The Festival Fever collection from IZ London is available online here for £6 each

Happy shopping!
