It may not sound glamorous but it certainly sounds effective. So I very excited to try out the new Hylamide Pore Flush from Deciem. Here’s what you need to know.

I am a sucker for a facial mist. If you can spray, I usually like it, so I had high hopes for this!
Hylamide Pore Flush Features
- Lightweight mist
- Formulated to tackle enlarged pores
- Combines clinically-tested bio-derivatives of bridewort and buchu with a gram-negative marine bacteria
- Bridewort Bioderivatives act as a solubilizer of congestion within pores to flush them out
- Buchu Bioderivatives reduce visible sebum accumulation within pores which can cause pores to appear enlarged
- Natural Marine Polymers form a natural, non-clogging marine-derived film to tighten pores immediately

I have combination skin and always worry about enlarged pores so this product is pretty appealing to me. I also suffer with dehydrated skin so I don’t want to over-regulate sebum production. Therefore I have been using this occasionally rather than daily and have been super pleased with it.

I love it on days when I am going to be out all day and wearing makeup. I spritz on to a cotton pad and swipe it over cleansed skin and it makes my skin feel instantly fresh and clean. I can actually see an instant improvement in the visibility of my pores and they look subtly tighter and not so open. I actually wasn’t expecting to see anything straight away so I think this product is definitely suited to my type of combination skin.
The other mist I love from Hylamide is the Hyra-Density Mist (review here) which offers intense and multi-layer hydration. I think the two are great to alternate, or even use together to keep oil and hydration balanced. My skin feels less congested and I think I’d potentially use it with greater frequency in warmer months. Right now I am battling the dryness that cold weather brings.
Hylamide Pore Flush is £13 and available HERE now. Some people don’t like the smell but I find it quite citrusy.
