Flyaways can sabotage your perfect style before you have even had a chance to spray it into place! Here’s a really quick little tip on How To Smooth Flyaways that I have picked up from having my hair done by the pros when I’ve been on set with BaByliss.
All you need is a small brush or comb and a wand or tong. I am using the BaByliss Vintage Glamour Wave Maker but you can also use the Curling Wand Pro or the Boutique Soft Waves.
You simply smooth down the flyaways with the brush/comb and then lightly and quickly press the wand just where you have brushed to iron any loose hair down. Be careful to avoid the scalp.
Do this all around the parting and anywhere the hair is not lying smoothly, then spray a tiny bit of light serum into your hands (the Got2Be Weightless Dry Oil Mist is good for this) and rub your palms together. Blot off any excess on a towel, or the ends of your hair if they are dry.
Next simply press your hands over the hair, making sure there is only the tiniest hint of product, to seal the hair in place. This will give you lovely smooth roots and kick those flyaways into shape!
