This one of my favourite things I own right now. It’s my very own personalised Holistic Silk Lavender Face Mask. Oh my goodness, I love it so much!! There’s a bit of a story behind this one.

And apart from the fact that it has been beautifully personalised, I have an extra special attachment to it because I feel like it was a true act of fate, (0r a sign that I am psychic!), that it came into my possession. Let me explain!

Holistic Silk Lavender Face Mask – The Story!

The night before I received this very gorgeous Holistic Silk Lavender Face Mask, I was trying to go to sleep, but my boyfriend was reading on his phone and the light was distracting me. And so I said, “I wish I had a sleep mask right now”. When I started to think about that, I started to form a little idea of what it would be like.

So I said “I want to have something ridiculously girly and indulgent on it, like Princess.”. And then I said “Actually no, I want it to say ReallyRee!”. My boyfriend was vaguely listening to me and kind of murmured in acknowledgement and then (eventually – I am a dreadful sleeper) I went to sleep and forgot all about it.

The next day I went to an event in the morning and then met up with one of my favourite PRs. We were chatting away and then she showed me the products she had brought me – some gorgeous makeup brushes, some lovely makeup and then a Holistic Silk Lavender Face Mask WITH REALLYREE ON IT!

I was so thrilled with it that my psychic/fateful moment didn’t immediately occur to me, but then I suddenly remembered my almost mindless chit chat the night before! I declared “I’m a witch!”. I then proceeded to rant all about it. She probably thinks I am completely mad, and to be fair, there are times that I would be inclined to agree.

Anyway, enough of my witchy rant. What I can tell you is that is was instant love for my Holistic Silk Lavender Face Mask. Of course there is something very wonderful about owning a ‘thing’ that has been made unique just for you, but it is more than that. It is an absolutely brilliant sleep mask that has been beautifully made.

It is lined in the softest cotton velvet and filled with pure dried lavender that gently lulls me to sleep and helps me stay asleep too. It has the sofest velvet ties that I have fastened to fit my head perfectly, and now it just slips gently on and off. It is so much more comfortable than an elasticated one. It’s just perfect.

It comes in an, organza bag for storage, which of course I have lost, but I just keep mine in the top draw of my bedside table. I don’t use it every night, as sometimes I fall asleep while I am on my phone at a stupid hour in the mornin(tut tut) but I always use it when I am concentrating on my bedtime ritual and working for a restful night’s sleep.

I couldn’t recommend these masks enough. You can buy the standard ones for £46 – which are worth every penny in my opinion – or if you are looking for a special gift, then you can pay £58 and get a personalised monogrammed one. I think it would be the most wonderful present.
