Hello Kitty x Starface is back! Following the success of the original collaboration, Starface has launched a new limited-edition Hello Kitty Mystery Compact, featuring four collectible designs hidden inside blind boxes.

Each £12.99 compact contains 32 hydrocolloid pimple patches, and you won’t know which colour you’ve got until you open it. Here’s everything you need to know about the new launch, plus my review of the original Hello Kitty x Starface collection.

New for October 2026: Hello Kitty x Starface Mystery Compact

The Hello Kitty x Starface collaboration has returned, with a new twist on the brand’s collectible pimple patches. This time, Starface and Sanrio have introduced a Mystery Compact, which comes in a blind-box format.

There are four designs to collect, in blue, red, hot pink and light pink, but the colour remains a surprise until you open the box. Each compact contains 32 hydrocolloid pimple patches designed to absorb fluid from spots, help reduce redness and make breakouts a little less of a nuisance.

As with the original collaboration, the appeal is as much about the collectible packaging as it is about the skincare. Starface has built its reputation on making pimple patches fun, encouraging a more positive attitude towards breakouts and helping to discourage skin picking.

The limited-edition Hello Kitty Mystery Compact is available from Starface UK* from 22 October 2026, priced at £12.99, while stocks last.

My Review of the Original Hello Kitty x Starface Collection

This limited-edition collection blends the playful nostalgia of Sanrio’s Hello Kitty with Starface’s fun and functional skincare approach. From adorable pimple patches in a collectible case to a deliciously scented Apple Star Balm, this launch is all about making self-care a little cuter.

I’ll be honest, I don’t often use pimple patches these days because I rarely get spots (thank goodness) but this super cute set has actually made me want to get a spot!! Maybe I will just wear them for fun!

I absolutely love the collectible compact that the hydrocolloid pimple patches come in. It has a little mirror, so it will be perfect for my handbag, even if I don’t use the patches! I just need to make sure I don’t mix it up with my Airpods case!

If you do get spots, these patches use hydrocolloid technology and work wonders by absorbing impurities and speeding up healing. The case is refillable, so make sure you also pick up some backups!

The Hello Kitty x Starface Apple Star Balm lip balm is also gorgeous, and has gone straight into my handbag. It is sweet and fresh and there is something about applying a Hello Kitty lip balm on the go that just makes me happy!
