My Review of the Harvey Nichols Fragrance Advent Calendar 2026

I’m really impressed with the Harvey Nichols Fragrance Advent Calendar 2026. The fragrance edit is beautiful, the packaging feels suitably luxurious and, with a mix of niche discoveries and more generous-sized bottles, there’s plenty to get excited about.

This is a brilliant calendar for anyone who loves fragrance and enjoys discovering something a little different. The selection brings together cult favourites from Escentric Molecules with niche names including Ex Nihilo, Matiere Premiere, Nishane and D.S. & Durga. It feels like a genuinely considered edit, with plenty of variety rather than 15 versions of the same idea.

There’s a lovely mix of fragrance styles, too, from fresh citrus and modern woody scents to rich amber and statement florals. The inclusion of Vyrao Free 00, Thameen The Cora and Granado Amazonico, all in 25ml or larger sizes, is particularly appealing, while the Harvey Nichols refillable atomiser and D.S. & Durga car fragrance add a couple of useful extras.

What I particularly like is that this isn’t simply a collection of tiny samples. Alongside the smaller discovery sizes, there are three larger fragrance bottles, including a 50ml Thameen The Cora, making the contents feel more substantial. It gives you the opportunity to explore new names, find a potential signature scent and spend some proper time getting to know the fragrances.

Overall, I think this is a very strong fragrance advent calendar for 2026, especially if you’re already familiar with the big designer names and want to explore more niche perfumery. It’s an indulgent treat for fragrance enthusiasts and a lovely way to discover brands you might not otherwise have tried.
