You nay have gathered that I have become fairly hair obsessed recently. Particularly on the styling and curling front.
And with hair obsession comes hair damage and dry and frazzled ends. At Christmas I started using some products from Clynol to try and balance out the obsession. And I have to say, I have been very pleased.
Read on for some before and after pics…
I can be quite naughty when it comes to styling my hair because it never tends to get greasy so I kind of style it over and over again, and use heat on it even when it still has old product on. I am definitely guilty of cooking it a bit!
But I can’t resist it so I decided to try and make sure I am doing the best I can for my hair when I’m not punishing it! This was my hair on a day where I hadn’t styled it but just rough dried it. Not so healthy-looking really.
I have been using the Revive Shampoo (£8.90, 300ml) and – Recovery Conditioner (£9.90, 250ml).
The shampoo promises to ‘gently cleanse distressed and damaged hair, whilst repairing the hair’s structure from within. Soy Protein and Vitamin B3 nourish from root to tip for soft, healthy and strong locks.
The condition will ‘reconstructs and replenishes dry, damaged hair from within whilst sealing the hair’s surface and providing essential protection’.
I do love this duo.For an extra boost I use the Rescue Rinse-Off Treatment (£10.15, 200ml) – ‘an intensive, caring treatment that wraps the hair in a blend of restorative ingredients, delivering targeted repair both inside and out’.
I saw results pretty quickly, in fact a noticed a difference after the very first use. My hair felt stronger and shinier.
Both these photos show my hair when I have just used my hands and a hair dryer to style – I am unable to do a proper blow dry.
I think you’ll see how much smoother and shinier.
I really love it! Unfortunately it really is time for me to move on to review different haircare so I have to put it away for a while, but I know I’ll be getting out again!
