Gucci Guilty Absolute Fragrance For Men

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, it’s time to get a gift sorted for your loved one. I have always found men to be very hard to buy for and fragrances are always a great gift to give. They are something that you wouldn’t usually treat yourself to, especially when they are a bit special like Gucci Guilty Absolute for men.

Gucci Guilty Absolute is a completely new fragrance which is available to purchase from the 1st of February 2017 in two size options, 50ml or 90ml.

I really like the packaging, the bottle has been inspired by the textures and colours of cigars and cognacs. The bottle itself is sleek and resembles a flask with an embossed Gucci logo of interlocking Gs on both the front and back of the bottle. This bottle in particular is the 90ml size and even with it being a bigger fragrance, the bottle is still very sleek.

I am not usually a fan of many men’s fragrances but this one is different to anything I have smelt before. This has been created for a man who defines his own masculinity and has been born out of a special collaboration between the creative director Alessandro Michele and the master perfumer Alberto Morillas. It has a blend of notes with a structure that remains unchanged from the first time that it is applied to the skin. It is an ultra-dry woody fragrance, intensified with three forms of patchouli oils and earthy vetiver. The four key ingredients in this scent are WoodLeather, GoldenWood, Patchouli and Vetiver, all of which work well together.

To me, this is a scent that the slightly older man would enjoy and would be perfect to gift this Valentine’s Day. It’s a very strong fragrance once applied to the skin and will last and linger all day long so only a few spritzes are needed. It’s also a fragrance that when you walk into a room, you will be able to notice so perfect for evening wear.
