I’m obsessed with exfoliation and brightening and so I literally ran home to try this new product from US brand Goldfaden MD when I got my hands on it! Here’s the low-down on Goldfaden MD Fresh A Peel Multi Acid Resurfacing Peel.

Fresh A Peel is an alternative to stronger glycolic peels that can often be too harsh on sensitive skins. It uses Lactic Acid and “Goldfaden MD’s signature antioxidant-rich multi-fruit enzyme complex” (lemon, orange, bilberry) to naturally brighten and retexturise the skin by moisturising and getting rid of dead skin cells. The Lactic Acid and fruit enzyme mix promises to prevent acne and breakouts and also promote collagen growth.

Fresh A Peel also contains Sugar Cane Extract which is a natural exfoliant that’s great to combat blemishes and balance oily skin all in a really gentle way, and it’s suitable for even senstive skins. I used it twice last week and loved it from the first use.

It is really easy to use. You just pop a small amount over clean skin, leave it for a couple of minutes, and then rinse off with cool water. It tingles while it’s on, but doesn’t make the skin go red and just leaves it glowing, fresh and smooth, and the dreaded enlarged pores seem instantly less noticeable. I am 100% keeping this in my weekly skincare routine.
Goldfaden MD Fresh A Peel Multi Acid Resurfacing Peel (50ml) is available now at Space NK for £75 with free delivery. You only need a small amount, so it should last a good few months. I have also been trying the Goldfaden MD Light Treatment Dark Spot Corrector and will update on that when I have progress. I will say that it’s packed with hyaluronic acid and is incredibly hydrating, obviously I can’t comment on its dark spot fighting power yet.
