I fell in love with this brand new mask from Goldfaden the second I lay eyes on it. The texture is amazing and the colour speaks ‘clean’ to me! When I smelt it I loved it more – it’s like the smell of clean pores, if you know what I mean!? I put it straight on my list to test out! Having now tested this out, one of the things I really love about it is that whilst it truly deep cleans the skin, it genuinely does not give it that dry feeling that many detoxifying masks can. But first, here’s what it’s all about.

The consistency of this mask is incredible. It is like a dense whipped mousse that has a melting texture that spreads easily over the skin. You apply it in a thin layer so only need the tiniest amount and I simply spread it onto the areas where I have visible pores.

The Goldfaden MD Facial Detox is such a comfortable mask. Although it dries down nicely (I could wear my glasses after a couple of minutes to carry on work) it still stays feeling flexible and creamy to the touch. It doesn’t feel even slightly drying on the skin which is a serious bonus. Even a fine layer really adheres itself to the skin, so you have to be thorough when rinsing it away. For me, this is an excellent sign as I felt like it really locked onto impurities and drew them out of the skin.

It left my skin calm and very comfortable. I get a few little bumps under the skin on either side of my chin and after use, these felt less noticeable and much smoother. My pores looked tightened and my skin appeared clean and glowing. Fab! You can use this once a week as a mask, leaving on for 10-15 minutes, or you can use on individual spots as a treatment four times a week.
