There is a brand new cleansing option from Glossier and if you like skincare with AHAs, this is going to be very exciting! Here’s the lowdown on the Glossier Cleanser Concentrate Clarifying Face Wash. I have been testing it out and, spoiler alert, I’m a fan.

What is Glossier Cleanser Concentrate?
This new cleanser has been designed to provide an option for when you feel your skin needs a real deep clean, whether that’s a couple of times a week, or daily.
- Highly concentrated face wash is formulated with naturally derived actives
- Features antioxidant-rich fruit extracts, grape ferment, and conditioning calendula and passion fruit
- Works to cleanse, exfoliate to deliver smoother-looking skin in 60 seconds
- Purifies and visibly refines pores, for increased skin clarity
Key Ingredients

- Grape Ferment & Grape Juice Extract – exfoliate and brighten the look of skin
- Amino Acid Surfactants – naturally derived substitute for sulfates, that give the formula it’s silky, soft lather without stripping the skin of too much moisture. They also help water mix with dirt and oil on the skin for a really effective cleanse
- AHA Blend: Lactic Acid and Malic Acid – gently exfoliate to clear away dead skin to reveal a smoother, glowy complexion
- Niacinamide – to refine and decongest pores
- Calendula + Chamomile – soothing and highly antioxidant to protect and help maintain a delicate balance of moisture so skin is never left dry or tight
- Passion Fruit Extract – packed with antioxidants, contains vitamins A and C, flavonoids, and essential fatty acids to help moisturise and condition
My Review of Glossier Cleanser Concentrate
Highlights
- I found it great on the appearance of pores
- Deep cleans without stripping
- Great morning or second cleanse

I was so excited to found out that Glossier was launching a new cleanser because I am such a fan of the Milky Jelly Cleanser*. I love that one to melt off makeup, and this new product makes the perfect second cleanse to really deep clean the skin.
When mixed with water, the cleanser creates a lovely silky lather that feels soft and gentle on the skin.
How to use it
I just take a couple of pumps of the cleanser concentrate and massage it over damp skin. You need to work it on for at least 60 seconds for the ingredients to activate.

The plant-derived Amino Acid surfactants create an undetectable film, that stays on skin to lock in ingredients. This is why it’s key to pat skin dry and not rub, to allow the product to continue to work.
I love how the Glossier Cleanser Concentrate leaves my skin looking. It seems to instantly refine the pores and makes my skin look smooth, bright and glowing. It makes my skin feel tight and toned, but not dry which is key when it comes to a clarifying face wash.
What skin type Glossier Cleanser Concentrate good for?
The Cleanser Concentrate has been designed to work for all skin types including sensitive skin.
I’d say it is best suited to oilier or combination skin types that like the benefits of a deeper clarifying cleanse. If you sit in this camp, you could use it daily.
I have a combination skin type and like it as a second cleanse a few times a week and as a first cleanse in the morning a few times a week too.
I think drier skin types would benefit by using it maybe once or twice, like you would a mask.
