I actually first spotted this product on a US instagram account in December last year and at that stage there were no plans to launch it in the UK. I was sad! But the cushion has obviously gone down very well in other markets which I am not at all surprised about, and now we are getting it! Yay!

Givenchy Teint Couture Cushion Foundation Features

A lot of the cushions I have seen appear to be very similar but Givenchy have done something new with the packaging here that makes it extra appealing!

• Lightweight texture
• Delivers a sensation of freshness
• Uses long-wearing pigments and skincare ingredients
• Polymer beads smooth skin’s texture and optically erase imperfections

You simply push down on the compact and the 4G logo delivers the amount of product you need. The metal plate cools it and ensures that the liquid feels really fresh on the skin as it is applied.

I really enjoyed using this product. It feels so light and fresh as it touches the skin and then melts in beautifully. It makes my skin look glowing and cared for. It is the perfect quick fix and also a complete handbag essential for touch ups on the go as it is super hydrating and layers really easily.

I used a few pumps rather than just one and I think you could just keep layering until you achieved the coverage you were looking for. The texture is so light that I think you could just keep going and it would never get cakey. I am loving this – it’s going straight into my foundation rotation!

The worrying thing is the shade range. My one is the lightest and the other swatch I have – No 4 – is second to darkest. I think there are a lot of people that may not get a match. Also, I found that I wanted to use quite a lot of product for one application so it may not last too long with everyday use.
