Before & After Photos
I have had a play with both 1-C105 and 2-N150 on my skin, and I think the most flattering is 2-N150. It is very slightly darker than I usually go for, however, it matches the skin on my face and tones into the skin on my neck very well. The result is pretty harmonious.
With the Givenchy Skin-Caring Glow Foundation, it really is a case of instant glow, and it is so enjoyable to apply. You literally see the radiance happening in front of your eyes, and lines and pores softening. It feels soft and hydrating on the skin, and you can layer it easily without any caking. It’s lovely.
The coverage is medium and buildable and I love the way that it melts into my skin. It just seems to blend really easily on my skin type and texture.
All other products I have tried layer over it beautifully, including cream and powder bronzers. I haven’t been setting it with any powder, as I like to give foundations a good test on their own, and I am happy to now to skip powder with this in the future – although maybe I’d use a touch if I was wearing a mask for any amount of time.
For your reference, I am traditionally a combination skin type but I find that my T-zone is less and less oily as I age. If you have oily skin, this may not wear so well and I think you will definitely need to set it.
In fact, what stands out about it for a glowy foundation, is how well it stays in place on my skin. I am always surprised when I look in my bathroom mirror at bed time to see my makeup still looking pretty flawless. It’s really very impressive and has been working so well on my skin.
