A couple of months ago I told you about the new mascara from Armani and now I have finally gotten around to taking pictures of the product and also some of my special (!) before and after photos so that you can have a proper look. Here’s my Giorgio Armani Black Ecstasy Mascara Review. Enjoy!

Before I get into application and before and after shots, I’ll just give you a quick recap of the technology involved, as this is part of the Maestro line which is pretty high tech.

This mascara is so so easy to apply and I find that it has a great curling effect on my lashes that really lasts. It feels super light on the lashes in spite of how dense the pigment and coverage looks. You can see from the wand that it is actually quite a light sheer formula (you can see the red of the wand) yet it delivers a deeply black result. Clever indeed.

The lashes don’t get crispy and stay really flexible which not only means that it’s really comfortable to wear, but it also doesn’t peel or flake. Result!
