I’ve always been a big fan of Ghost’s fragrances as I find them easy to wear. So when I saw that they had released a new fragrance called Ghost Dream, I couldn’t wait to try it. Dream is a perfume that is described as ‘a captivating and enigmatic floral oriental scent created for young women who embrace their femininity and independence.’
Ghost Dream is a floral fragrance which has top notes of ‘delicate 100% natural Rose Essential and fragrant Moroccan orange flower. A floral heart of heady Egyptian jasmine and pretty violet develops to reveal a sensual base of woody notes, ambroxan musks and patchouli.’
The scent gives a subtle sweet fragrance, which isn’t too overpowering as it is subdued by the woody base notes. It does appear to be more a ‘grown up’ scent as opposed to more of a young, sweet playful scent, which I think works really well for what they were trying to achieve.

I really enjoyed wearing Dream as an everyday fragrance; I didn’t find it too strong but it lasted all day. As someone that enjoys sweet fragrances, initially I was slightly put off by the woody base notes to Dream as I’m not particularly a big fan of woody scents. However, I think combined with the floral scents it works well. It’s definitely a fragrance that feels quite light, crisp and airy. I almost get a kind of nostalgic feeling when wearing it (in a good way!), but I can’t seem to place my finger on which other fragrance it reminds me of.

The multifaceted blue packaging of Dream reflects their vision of it being ‘deliciously transparent; light yet complex. Dream encapsulates the pink clouds of a hazy sunset, the play of light on rippling water’. This also looks great on any vanity and I think it would make a great gift.
I would definitely recommend this fragrance to anyone who enjoys a floral everyday scent. Ghost Dream is available in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml. You can order it online here
