Get Your Hands & Feet Ready For Summer!

We might have had snow in the UK in the last week, but the warmer weather is definitely starting to peek through the clouds. With summer threatening to make an appearance and an early holiday next week, it seemed like perfect timing to get my hands and feet ready for summer! I may not be jetting off to an exotic location, but I have got a spa and swimming pool to get ready for.

Painting my fingernails is one of my favourite things to do, but my feet definitely get neglected in the winter months. So I always find it such a chore to sort them out for the summer season. Luckily, Tweezerman seem to have all the answers, with a sun-worthy lineup!

Lets kick things off with my favourite item from this little bundle, the Sole Mates pedicure file.

I’m a bit of a file addict, but I’ve never seen anything like this! Sole Mates has two halves; one is a Stainless Steel Microfile and the other is a Nickel Finishing File. The two sides fit together using a clever magnetic design, which makes it easy to transport without damaging anything else in your travel bag.

The pink side is the Stainless Steel Microfile, which is designed to remove calluses and rough skin. As you glide the file over your feet, all the dead skin is caught inside the file, which means the process, is completely mess free. The white side is the Nickel Finishing File, which just gently buffs the feet to leave them smooth and soft. My next favourite item is the Grip & Snip Spiral Spring Cuticle Nipper, which I’ve wanted to try for ages. In the past I’ve struggled with cuticle scissors, which I find really difficult to use, especially with my left hand. The spring loop makes the Cuticle Nipper really easy to hold, as it stops the handle digging in to your hand, so you can keep a tight grip. The blades of the Cuticle Nipper are really sharp, which means you just line up your cuticles and with a slight squeeze they are removed. It’s a complete dream to use and I definitely won’t be ignoring my cuticles going forward! Find it here

Next up we have the Power Nail Clipper, which is just like any standard nail clipper, except with a bit of a twist. The Power Nail Clipper has extended handles, which makes it easier to clip your fingernails toenails, keeping your dignity in tact. It was really easy to use and it made light work of clipping my nails. Find it HERE

The last product is the Neon Filemates, which ooze summer glow. The neon nail files are the perfect on-the-go option for fixing your nails. The nail files come with a handy case, which protects the nail file and your belongings from damage. They are designed to work well with both natural and acrylic nails, plus they only cost £6, which I think is a bargain!
