Being in my 30’s I’m fully aware of needing to protect myself against the effects of ageing. I’m great at looking after my facial skin with creams, serums etc. but my poor body is neglected. After trying out and loving Frezyderm Sun Screen Velvet I was keen to try further products from the range so I decided the Frezyderm Anti-Ageing Body Cream was an ideal starting point to treat my skin.

Frezyderm Anti-Ageing Body Cream is described as:

Specially formulated soft cream for intensive skin treatment. Everyday use. Hydrating and refatting of the dry and coarse skin. Elasticity and firmness increase, remodelling and reconstruction of the epidermis. Protection from free radicals and age spots decrease.”

Frezyderm Anti-Ageing Body Cream Formulation:

Active ingredients include:

  • Sodium Hyaluronate
  • Argan oil
  • Tetrapeptide
  • Filagrin activator
  • Isoflavones

Interestingly it also contains turmeric. We’ve all seen the turmeric facial Pins on Pinterest or instagram tags. There’s good reason for this. Did you know Turmeric has many beauty uses? I didn’t. Some of those uses include:

  • Strong anti-oxidant and exfoliating agent.
  • Regulates production of sebum so helps control oily skin
  • Lightens stretch marks
  • Helps prevent breakouts as contains antiseptic and antibacterial properties

Frezyderm Anti-Ageing Body Cream Properties:

Scent wise Anti Ageing Body Cream reminds me of those foam banana penny sweets mixed with sun cream for lack of a better description. I personally really liked this scent, it wasn’t overpowering though and I didn’t notice it lingering on my skin afterwards for any length of time.

The texture was thicker than previous creams I’ve tried but not as thick as a body butter would be. I wasn’t expecting the cream to be absorbed into my skin as quickly as it was. I initially thought this was because my skin was so dehydrated it was grateful of any hydration. After a week of daily use though it still absorbed fairly rapidly. This makes it great for girls like me who are always in a rush.

Frezyderm Anti-Ageing Body Cream Results

After using for over a week now my skin is certainly much softer and more supple. I have patches of broken veins and pigmentation on my legs from a previous illness and I’ve noticed that the pigmentation doesn’t seem as dark as previously. I’ll be interested to see the results after a month or more of using.
