How to Use It
This is the perfect primer if you have dry skin. It is a dry oil texture that hydrates and smooths the skin, but sinks in really quickly. I tried a light layer just before foundation and my foundation went on really smoothly and effortlessly to my combination skin. It worked nicely for me, but oily skins may not get on so well as it definitely does push up the oil levels visible on the skin. I love a bit of shine but it won’t be good if you love a matte finish.
Although it looks pretty glittery when it is first dispensed, this does not translate onto the skin at all. It just makes it look plump, juicy and glowy.
I also really love to mix it in with foundation; actually I think this is my favourite way to use it. Here’s a quick pic of it – I mixed one blob of Supernova with 2 pumps of the Flower Beauty foundation because I had it to hand. It makes a lovely combination. If you love glow, it will be a great addition to any foundation especially as there’s loads of skincare in there too.
The Flower Beauty Supernova Celestial Skin Elixir is £14.99 and available HERE now. It’s the newest launch from the brand and they have struggles keeping it in stock. It’s available now in the UK but I imagine it will sell pretty fast!
