Drew Barrymore’s makeup brand Flower has arrived in the UK and I have been testing out the foundation. Here’s the Flower Beauty Light Illusion Foundation.

I love foundation, however, many of my favourites are on the pricier end of the scale, so I am always on the look out for affordable options that perform. I think this is one of them!

Flower Beauty Light Illusion Foundation Shades & Swatch
There are five shades in the range in the UK, which isn’t great to be fair. I think there’s a larger range in the US where the brand has been established for a while now. It would be good to see this expand, particularly as the brand’s tag line is “Beauty is for Everybody”.
In the UK, we have Porcelain, Nude, Natural Beige, Tawny and Sable. I have shade Nude:

The texture is really lovely. It is creamy and smooth and blends into the skin really easily.
Before & After
So I couldn’t wait to get this on my face. I thought Nude would be a teeny bit dark for me, however, I think I made it work.

I love how dewy this foundation is and it covers redness and pigmentation really well with a nice natural finish. It doesn’t minimise pores too much, but I am ok with that, as I often use concealer to do that job. In fact, I had a little play with the Flower Concealer in shade Fair which I like quite a lot. See photo below – I’ll have more info on that in a future post.

I also really like the packaging. It doesn’t feel cheap at all which is always a big bonus for me.
