Filorga Sleep-Recover Anti-Fatigue Balm Review

I can be rather lazy when it comes to my evening skincare routine, I often find myself completely forgetting to apply a whole plethora of products. I think it’s down to me not wanting to feel like I’m wearing a lot of product to bed and my skin feeling heavy. I also can’t bear it if skincare gets in my hair and as I like to throw myself around the bed as I sleep, products that sink in quickly are essential. That’s where the Filorga Sleep-Recover Anti-Fatigue Balm comes into play.

The Filorga brand is aimed at anti-ageing and the range is derived from the science behind cosmetic procedures. Each product uses innovative ingredients and technology to create younger looking skin – with zero injections. I love that more scientific focused products are becoming more widely available in the skincare market.

Filorga Sleep-Recover contains Hyaluronic Acid which is naturally produced in the body. Unfortunately, as we age the amount of hyaluronic acid in our skin lessens and the skin can suffer as a result. Hyaluronic Acid helps provide firmness, hydration and reduce fine lines, wrinkles and signs of fatigue.

I must mention how lovely the scent of the Filorga sleep-recover is. It’s a familiar, floral one which I cannot for the life of me put my finger on. Though the scent is quite potent, it’s not overpowering and settles once the product is applied to the skin. I use 2-3 pumps to cover my entire face and though this feels a little too liberal, one pump does not feel sufficient. The product is advertised as a balm but I feel it’s more of a lightweight cream in consistency and texture, which I have found sinks into the skin quickly. There is no excess residue left after use and the skin feels soft to the touch and almost product free.

Another thing I like about this product is the packaging, primarily due to the dispenser being a twist up which means the product is kept sanitised and fresh.

I have been using this most nights for the past few weeks and I have noticed a difference in the appearance of my skin. It feels firmer, less puffy and my fine lines don’t seem as prominent. I’ll be continuing to use this going forward to see if it provides any further improvements to my skin.
