Anything new from Fenty Beauty is exciting. But a new concealer from Fenty? Well that’s almost too much! Here’s the lowdown on the brand new Fenty Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Concealer. I have photos and swatches.
Available HERE now.
So far, the only kind of concealer type product I have used from Fenty are the Match Stix Matte Skin Sticks which are like a stick foundation that you can use to conceal and correct. I have highlight and contour shades and I literally cannot get enough of the Amber one for a soft contour.
Anyway… I was super excited about this because I am obsessed with liquid concealers. Literally obsessed.

50 shades of concealer is very impressive, but then I’d expect nothing less from Rihanna and a brand that launched with 40 shades of foundation. Speaking of which, that line is expanding too with 10 new foundation shades bringing that count to 50 too. My most recent match was 150 in case you were wondering.

So I have four shades of this new formula to show you. This is 110, 130, 140 and 200:
Before & After
I used shade 140, but I think I could probably use 150.
The formula is creamy, with excellent coverage. For under the eyes, it is nice and brightening. You just need a light layer and then lots and lots of blending for a really flawless finish. Fenty have a new concealer brush, but I used the small end of the It Cosmetics foundation brush.
I generally like something a little dewier, because I am conscious of lines around my eyes and this is a little on the matte side for me. I find this is best over a really creamy eye cream like the Kiehl’s Avocado Eye, which I absolutely love – it’s too matte for me with anything lighter. Having said that, it’s great for concealing redness and marks on other areas of my face.
If you like matte finishes, you might also want to check out the new Armani Power Fabric concealer, which I find a bit more forgiving on fine lines.
Fenty Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Concealer is £19 and available HERE from 11th January 2019.
