I am a wannabe false lash wearer. I say wannabe because I find them pretty tricky to master in general. By far the easiest lashes to apply are the ones I have tried by Eylure and they always do really exciting collaborations. The latest of which is the Eylure House of Holland Fluff Lash Collection. Here’s a look at the false lash, Henry Holland style.
Eylure House of Holland Fluff Lash Collection Contents
There are 3 lashes to choose from right now, with the House of Holland Whip Lash coloured trio joining the collection in June 2016:
- House of Holland Ruffle Lash – Light and long diffused style with an individual lash effect
- House of Holland Luffly Lash – tapered tips with a layered effect
- House of Holland Buff Lash – unique criss-cross lash with a structured finish
I had a go with Buff and absolutely loved them. They fit really well so I didn’t have to trim them, and the band is perfectly curved to fit my eye shape. The trick is to leave the glue to dry for about 30 seconds before applying the lashes. That way the glue is tacky rather than slippy and they fix in place nice and fast.
I love the look of Buff. They are long without being too heavy-looking – probably one of the nicest styles I have tried. Can’t wait to give the others a go. I always wish I wore fake lashes more! I want to be that kind of high maintenance gal!
In case you’re wondering, I am wearing the Bobbi Brown Art Stick in Brown Berry, Marc Jacobs ReMarcable Full Coverage foundation in Ivory 12 (new obsession!!) and the Anastasia Glow Kit in That Glow (review here).
It’s such a fun range and the packaging is absolutely gorgeous. The Eylure House of Holland Fluff Lashes are £5.99 and available to order online HERE (currently with a buy one get 2nd half price deal).
