I have been testing out these new eye makeup wipes from Eyeko and I think they are pretty good. I have to admit, I don’t enjoy cleansing my face and eye makeup all at the same time because I hate to see my mascara all over my face, so a separate solution is perfect for me. Here are my thoughts on the Eyeko Mascara Off Eye Makeup Remover Wipes.

I have a box that contains 3 packs of the Eyeko Mascara Off wipes and each pack contains 10 wipes. I decided to test these by cleansing everything apart from eye makeup so that I could properly see whether they removed the makeup cleanly without spreading it over my face. Here’s how I got on:

Each Eyeko Mascara Off Eye Makeup Remover Wipe is about a third of the size of a regular wipe but quite a bit thicker, even than the higher quality ones I have tried. I just held one end over one eye for about 10 seconds and then began to wipe. Within about 3-4 gentle wipes I’d say that the eye was totally clean. I then moved on to the other eye and there was still half the wipe clean for this.
I was wearing rather a lot of black eye makeup including liquid liner and waterproof mascara and it dealt with it pretty easily. The makeup stuck straight to the cloth and didn’t swish around my eye area at all. Impressive.
Eyeko Mascara Off Eye Makeup Remover Wipes are made of 100% cotton that is infused with a botanical blend of Olive Oil and Aloe Extract. It is so gentle that even my sensitive eyes don’t go red. The eye area feels lovely after and I just followed with my eye cream and the job was done.
Eyeko Mascara Off Eye Makeup Remover Wipes cost £6 for a packet of 10 wipes which I suppose is pretty pricey but so so handy for travelling. At the moment, I am not sure whether you can buy them in boxes like I have and what the price would be if you could. I will update if I find out. Find them on the Eyeko website HERE.
