A big new trend in the nail arena is the BB for nails and I have been trialling the Eve Snow BB Enriched Base Coat which promises lots of lovely benefits.

All Eve Snow nail products contain 3 key ingredients – Gingko Biloba, Argan Oil and Vitamin E so there’s already a great foundation for a BB nail product within the formulation. The Eve Snow BB Enriched Base Coat has a four in one action to provide protection, smoothness, luminosity and correction.

• Gingko Biloba – built in beauty supplement to strengthen nails, stimulate nail growth  and build resistance

I have fairly ridgy nails and I find that this creates a perfectly smooth base for my coloured nail polishes. Plus my nails a really rather yellow at the moment. They always get easily stained by colour as they are very porous (much like my hair) but it is worse at the moment because I have been using so many gel-effect polishes that require you to skip base coat.

Although I wouldn’t wear it alone as my nails just don’t look good bare, I do love the finish of this on my nails. Also, after a few applications, I think the yellow tinge is lessening. Great news! I am going to keep going with it!
