I have been a fan of Modern Muse since it launched, however, this latest edition is my favourite so far I think. It is deeper, darker, sexier and super glamorous. Here’s everything you need to know about the brand new Estee Lauder Modern Muse Nuit Fragrance.

First of all, the bottle, with its navy coloured juice, looks stunning. I love the Modern Muse bottle, with its feminine yet bold bow, and this one strikes a stronger, more serious impression and looks very decadent. Love it.

Modern Muse Nuit is a Floral Woody Oriental scent. It is floral yet warm and creamy and sits sexily on the skin. It has an innovative “dual-impression” fragrance structure that works via two contrasting accords:

Hynotic Floral Accord

The pulp of Exotic Mandarin is elevated by Bourgeon de Cassis and Blue Chamomile gives an unexpected botanical twist. This works to enhance the depth and richness of Jasmine Absolute and Jasmine Sambac China and the gorgeous velvety richness is given a soft feminity courtesy of creamy Heliotrope.

Addictive Woods Accord

Smooth Sandalwood is combined with Clearwood which is a cutting-edge material that captures patchouli’s polished warmth. Tonka Beans and Madagascar Vanilla intensify the richness and soft Musks and Amber magnify the sensuality on the skin.

It’s a powerful fragrance and a couple of spritzes last well on the skin – it gets warmer and creamier as it wears. It’s so good.
