This is such an interesting mask. Not least because it makes you look like a robot but also because of the dual-pronged attack it launches on skin fatigue and damage. The inside layer releases the concentrated treatment, while the foil forms a protective cocoon, that almost cooks the treatment – enhancing absorption and making it 25X faster than a traditional cotton sheet mask. Love it!!

The mask itself is very comfortable to wear and I felt an initial tingling sensation which might be important to consider for those with very sensitive skin. It comes in 2 parts – you pop the bottom half on first and the top on second, slide everything into place and you’re good to go. It’s all very easy.

The Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Powerfoil Mask was designed to complement Advanced Night Repair serum and is recommended to be used weekly in place of that night’s serum. I used this before bed last night and here is how my skin looked after I removed it and massaged in the excess serum from the pouch.

I absolutely love the results. It almost seemed a shame to go to bed! I applied my regular night cream and woke up this morning with rested, calm, hydrated and super-smooth and firm skin. This definitely works for me! Now I need to get my hands on more because I only had the one! I would love to test out the cumulative results of weekly use.
