You know when every little detail is right and there’s absolutely nothing you would change? Well that was what my ESPA Life at the Corinthia overnight stay was like. It just couldn’t have been more perfect. I went we my mumma and we literally had the best time ever. If you are looking for a flawless luxury spa experience, then please do have a read of this.

ESPA Life at the Corinthia Review

First up, the service at the Corinthia is absolutely incredible. From the second we walked through the doors there was absolutely nothing that was too much trouble. We were checked in quickly and efficiently and then shown to our room and given a quick start guide to the room facilities.

It was time for lunch in the Spa Lounge shortly after we arrived so we tootled off there and the complete serenity commenced. The ESPA Life spa area is absolutely stunning – actually it is more than stunning – paradisal I think. Mum and I were shown around, we changed into our robes and slippers, left our valuables in high-tech lockers and then sat down for lunch.

We had a glass of champagne each and then some beautifully prepared lemon sole. Yummy. We relaxed there until it was time for our treatments.

ESPA Life at the Corinthia – Treatments

We were collected and taken to beautiful therapy rooms. Mum had a Back, Face & Scalp Treatment which she loved and completely fell asleep in, and I decided to go for a bit more of a hardcore treatment, the Bamboo Jont Release Treatment.

If you work on a computer all day like I do, and really feel the tension in your body, then this is for you. I am not going to .pretend it was relaxing. It wasn’t. There were times when I wished I had gone for the relaxing option, but 3 days later, I can safely say that it was completely worth it. My neck, shoulders and back are feeling much looser, everything feels much less knotted and I feel more able to correct my own posture.

ESPA Life at the Corinthia Review

The most amazing and expert therapist, Angel, had literally pummelled my muscles to within an inch of their lives, and apologised and reassured me every step of the way. I seriously needed this treatment, and although it wasn’t comfortable at all times, it was absolutely amazing. Angel also gave me some great tips for maintaining his good work. I will definitely be taking more regular breaks and rotating my shoulders to break up the repetitive strain that computer work fosters.

The facilities are spectacular. The spa itself is spread over four floors and is impeccably designed and styled with leather and marble. There are 17 treatment pods, Nail Studio, Daniel Galvin Hair Studio, 9 metre silver steel Swimming Pool, amphitheatre Sauna, black mosaic Steam Room and a state-of-the-art Gym. It is incredible.

The Corinthia – The Room

Mum and I stayed in an Executive Twin Room and it was amazing. Beautifully furnished, wonderfully spacious and with a massive bath tube inclusive of TV and floating remote control. After my intensive treatment in the Spa, that tub got some serious use. I have now decided I need a TV and floating remote in my bathroom at home.

The Corinthia – The Northall

Mum and I had the most gorgeous dinner, and then breakfast the following morning, in the Northall restaurant. The food was beyond wonderful, the service was flawless and welcoming, the surroundings were beautiful. Plus, you can get baby Nutella jars at breakfast. Miniature obsessives need to go!
