It has been a while since I have used any Erno Laszlo products but it really is a lovely brand. I have to say that I think this is my favourite product from them yet. Check out the Erno Laszlo Hydra-Therapy Memory Sleep Mask. I love it because it is different and it works!

If your skin is feeling a tad on the dry side due to the horrendous combination of cold weather and stuffy central heating (that is where I have been) then you need to take a look at this mask. It is deeply moisturising and hydrating and gives my skin a noticeable bounce the morning after I have used it.

So most people believe that it is the night time when our skin does most of its work to repair itself but this repair process in itself can use up to 25% of skin’s stored water, so it is more than likely that skin can end up pretty dehydrated by the time that morning comes around. The Erno Laszlo Hydra-Therapy Memory Sleep Mask works by jump-starting the skin’s ability to repair itself and also re-infuses lost moisture.

Erno Laszlo Hydra-Therapy Memory Sleep Mask Formulation

The formula for this sleep mask takes its inspiration from nature’s most resilient plants that can resist the effects of cold, heat and altitude.

  • Prickly Pear Extract – desert fig plant used as a skin remedy by the Aztecs and is a natural moisture magnet that draws and retains water even after it is rinsed away
  • Mugwort and Green Ginger Extract – robust perennials used since Ancient Egyptian times for their hydrating, antioxidant and  soothing properties
  • Winged Kelp Extract – naturally rich in Omegas and fatty acids, boosts collagen and shields against free radicals
  • Raspbery and Tomato stem cells – restore skin’s abilityto hydrate and restructure to make it stronger and more luminous.

Now this is the fun part!! The mask has a unique texture, the formulation of which is based on memory foam developed for the NASA space program. It is a weightless gel that cushions the skin and restores elasticity while you sleep. I love this texture – it’s like a mix between jelly and blancmange!

You scoop it out and it makes a dent, then when you go back to it, it is all smooth and level again. Magic!

It reminds me of the Illamasqua Hydra Veil primer in texture but much firmer. This literally melts into my skin and I can feel it drinking it up. I have used it alone but I also love it as the last step in my night time skincare regime to lock in and super charge all the goodness from serums, oils and moisturisers. I have been using it 1-2 times per week to combat dehydration.

When I wake up, my s kin is plump, smooth, super hydrated and really bouncy. It really does work so well for me – love it!!

The Erno Laszlo Hydra-Therapy Memory Sleep Mask costs £95 and is available exclusively from Harrods.
